To provide members with a national forum and voice in all social and
economic matters;
To assist in the promotion, development, maintenance and enhancement of
Portuguese-Canadian culture and communities;
To act as a consultative body to communities, governments, and
institutions on matters relevant to Portuguese-Canadians and society;
To encourage and assist Portuguese-Canadians in participating fully in
all aspects of Canadian society;
To facilitate the communication, collaboration and cooperation between
communities;
To promote positive social and economic relationships between the people
of Canada and Portugal;
Other complementary purposes not inconsistent with these objectives.
