Structure

The Congress has representatives in most Canadian Provinces and in municipalities with significant Luso-Canadian populations. These local communities elect one or more Delegates and one Director, as well as one Youth Delegate. At the national level, the Congress is represented by a National Executive composed of 3 Vice-Presidents (one each for Eastern, Central and Western Canada), a National Vice-President and a National President.

Delegates & Directors

Delegates and Directors represent their local communities at meetings with government officials, at community events and monthly Congress meetings. Delegates and Directors work together to develop strategies to support the work of the Congress and to deal with community issues. Delegates and Directors also have the responsibility of organizing local volunteer groups and promoting the Congress within their communities.
